Do Tell Belle | Episode 008 | People vs. Poison

In this episode of Do Tell Belle, Belle Hahn travels to Washington, D.C. to document People vs. Poison, a movement that brought farmers, physicians, scientists, advocates, and families together to stand for healthier food systems and greater accountability. Belle shares the deeply personal journey that led her there, from unexplained childhood health struggles to producing Common Ground, discovering regenerative agriculture, and learning how the health of our soil is connected to the health of our bodies. Through conversations with Dale Big Tree and Kelly Ryerson, this episode explores the people behind the movement, the questions being asked about our food system, and why so many believe the future of human health begins with healthy soil. Rather than taking sides, this episode invites us to ask better questions: Where does our food come from? Who grows it? How can we care for the land in ways that also care for one another? Although the legal outcome wasn’t what many had hoped for, the movement continues, reminding us that hope isn’t built on winning every battle. It’s built on continuing to plant seeds for the future.
