From SXSW in Austin to Santa Barbara @mentalwellnesscenter, Malibu, Washington D.C., Mustique, and now on our way to Cannes, it has truly become a gathering of voices, stories, healing, and humanity.

And somewhere in the middle of all the movement, delayed planes gifted us something unexpected and clearly needed:

rest.

Sometimes nature slows you down only to place you exactly where you need to be.

So we returned to the stunningly beautiful @chateaudetheoule Théoule near Cannes, recommended by our dear friends, @firestonesisters

Last summer, after learning my beloved @rosaa.delgado had suffered a brain aneurysm, this place became sacred ground for me — a place to heal, soften, cry and begin dreaming into the ways we can help melt the ICE on this planet through love, community, and beauty… support for @veggierescue @lacasadelaraza.landmark @mentalwellnesscenter strongly followed ❤️‍🩹

Returning now feels

Fully alive.

Fully engaged.

And remembering that self-care must come first.

After Mustique, the Firestone sisters reminded me that their perfumes are like carrying the retreat with you anywhere in the world:

A retreat in a bottle. And clean beauty at that 😍

So here I am in my sister’s @lilyhahnshining @alemais.official dress, my oversized French hat from last summer, with The First and Open tucked inside the adorable nautical purse I somehow found in Atlanta, Georgia — en route to Mustique 😉all this beautiful cross-pollination of world travel, memory, sisterhood, and healing.

Now, restored by the sea, we head toward @festivaldecannes to celebrate our love for storytelling…a special brava to our incredible friends honoring the sacredness of our soil and our planet @groundswell_agriculture 🌱
